The new 32,000 Sq Ft facility located next to the Santa Maria Airport consists of two floors and a balcony. The first floor (16,000 Sq Ft) houses SIL’s production and environmental test equipment for full-scale production of our flight unit products, including Li-Ion Polymer Intelli-Pack Batteries, VBITS AFTU, VBIRS Space-Based Range, and Power Distribution Unit technologies used on rockets, missiles, interceptors, reentry vehicles, hypersonic vehicles, and Satellites.
The 2nd Floor (16,000 Sq Ft) is dedicated to Engineering development with state-of-the-art design and environmental test labs to enhance our existing products and/or innovate new ones. The facility also has internal amenities for our employees, including a gym, conference rooms, kitchen, break areas, a lactation room for young mothers and restrooms.
